BiographyDr. Jiaji Sun was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in a family very involved in the medical field. He began to learn from his own grandfather, at age 6, by watching him treat patients on the first floor of their house, which also served as a clinic at the time. His grandfather was a famous dermatologist in China and graduated from the Hamberg Medical University in Germany of 1923. Following his footsteps, Dr. Sun pursued a Medical degree in Radiology and graduated from Shanghai Medical School in 1976. Dr. Sun continued to attain an additional Advanced Degree of Chinese Medicine, graduating from Shanghai Medical School in 1983. He then became certified in Acupuncture and Herbology from Shanghai Chinese Traditional Medicine School.
Dr. Sun has had over 40 years of experience in the medical field. He has been employed in the TCM Department, Internal Medicine Department, and the Radiology Department, all facilities were located in hospitals of both China and the U.S.A. Dr. Sun then later established his private practice as a licensed acupuncturist in 1995 in Bayside, NY and currently offers treatments at two clinics of New York City. |
