CINNAMOMUM CASSIA

Origins: Southern China, Laos, Vietnam
Parts Used: Tender young stems
Properties: Pungent and sweet; warm
Human benefits: Heart, Lungs, Bladder
Effects: Diaphoretic, carminative, antiseptic
IndicationsL "Wind-cold" chills and fever, diarrhea, nausea, mentrual disorders
Dosage: 1-5g 
Remarks: Fevers without sweat, use with Ephedra sinica; with sweat, use with Paeonia albifloria; for mentrual disorders, use wieh Pauonia lactiflora, Prunus persica, and Angelica sinesis
